Below is the full text of a letter that the author received in this inbox. He received this letter in response to a letter that he had sent to someone else. That someone else to whom he sent the letter is, the on-the-rise leader of the new herd of literati, Neal Pollack, the author of Neal Pollack's Anthology of American Literature.

The author of this web site, in his email, expressed his excitement and enthusiasm towards the release of Mr. Pollack's new book, which was released on September 1st. The author also expressed excitement and enthusiam in regards to Mr. Pollack's nationwide book tour; Mr. Pollack will perform three readings in Chicago, where the author lives. The author also informed Mr. Pollack that he will applaud Mr. Pollack when Mr. Pollack reads at his readings and after he applauds and when Mr. Pollack is finished reading, the author will wait in line and ask Mr. Pollack to sign his picture of Princess Diana. (The author later regretted his comment about Princess Diana, not because he felt he was being disrespectful, but because he does not have a picture of Princess Diana.)
